Admission requirements for incoming students to the Kansas State University Carl R. Ice College of Engineering do not include standardized test scores (ACT/SAT), nor is there a cap on the number of students admitted to any of the degree programs.
A first-year student is someone who has not enrolled at another college or university within one year of graduating from high school. To be admitted directly into one of the 14 degree programs or engineering undecided, a student must meet the following criteria:
Note: Students who have been admitted to Kansas State University but do not meet the engineering GPA will be reviewed individually. Those not admitted directly to the College of Engineering will be placed in the Engineering Pathways program.
